SPAN (Synergy/SAGE Parent
Action Network) will host its Second Annual Synergy Family Night from
6:30-8:30pm on Th. Feb. 7 in the HOMS cafeteria. Science exploration
booths with representatives from The Works (http://www.theworks.org/), KING TeC robotics
representatives and robots, and district teachers with science explorations of

SPAN’s next meeting will
be on Th. Feb. 21 at 7pm at the PLHS Media Center, 3rd floor.
Superintendent Sue Ann Gruver, Assistant Superintendent Jeff Holmberg, PLHS
principal Dave Lund, HOMS principal Sasha Kuznetsov, and WW principal/SAGE
coordinator Pam Winfield will be in attendance to discuss gifted education
issues/questions at all levels within the district.
