Dear Grainwood Parents,
We are looking for 15 adults to work with 2nd grade students to help develop a story with the guidance of an artist in residence. We have recruited a few 2nd grade parents already, but are in need of more volunteers. Participants will be asked to attend one of three Brainstorming sessions in January (January 11, 14, or 15th); one of three Layout, Review and Critique sessions in February (dates and times TBD); and finally, one of three observation times in March (dates and times TBD). Participants will also have a chance in February to "vote" for one of three layout options created by the artist. They are asked to "pop-in" to the school Media Center to cast their vote, by selecting their favorite layout which will be displayed on one of three bookmarks.
