Last Friday morning, the Junior Varsity Jazz Band (9th and 10th Graders) from Prior Lake High School visited Grainwood and performed a short concert. Ms. Knoble, their director, spent time educating our students about the three different types of Jazz music and showcasing instruments throughout the performance. For fifth graders interested in band at the sixth grade level, please be on the lookout this spring for information from the Middle Schools. Summer band lessons are also an option for students entering sixth grade next fall.
