SPAN (Synergy/SAGE Parent Action Network) will hold its next
meeting on Thu. Jan. 9 at 7pm in the WestWood Media Center. Join us with questions about your own gifted
child or gifted education within the district.
We’ll host an open discussion about whatever issues/questions parents
bring to the meeting; other parents can often provide great support and
answers! Our February meeting on Mon.
Feb. 3 will feature speaker Dr. Karen Rogers, who will present on how to meet
the needs of twice-exceptional children both within and outside of school. Twice-exceptional children are gifted and
face some other challenge (ADHD, learning disability, etc.). Questions?
