Yesterday we celebrated our last all-school meeting "Oscars-style." Students and staff were encouraged to dress up and prepare to walk the red carpet. This was the first time we invited family members to attend. Thank you to those who could. We hope you enjoyed the show! Our Junior Naturalists, students with perfect attendance, Birthday Book Club participants (146) and classroom CARES Superheroes of the Year were recognized, our summer reading program was launched, Oscar themed CARES video nominees and winners were announced (student had a chance to vote on their favorites last week), a tribute to Mrs. Kufrin, who is retiring, was shared and our fifth graders were recognized for their transition to middle school. It was a wonderful celebration of the school year and a fitting end. Please plan to join us next year!
