SPAN’s last
meeting of the school year is today,Tuesday, April 23 at 7pm in the WestWood
Media Center. Barbara Dullaghan, the Elementary Gifted and Talented Coordinator
in the Bloomington School District, will give a presentation on and answer
questions about Executive Functioning and organizational skills in gifted
children. Executive function can be defined as the cognitive process that
regulates an individual's ability to organize thoughts and activities,
prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and make decisions.
We will also
