National TV Turnoff Week will be celebrated April 18 through April 22. During this week, kids and families pledge to turn off their TV for the week and find out the wide range of possibilities open to them when the TV is not a part of their lives.
TV Turn-off Week was started in 1994 after concerns about the health, social and emotional impact television viewing was having on our young people.
Explore the many alternatives to TV with your child and make TV Turn-off Week a week of fun quality family time together.
